Cellular Respiration and Fermantation(blogg 7)

Cellular respiration uses carbohydrates and oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water, and energy for the activities of the cell.Cellular respiration is the reverse on phtosynthesis. Fermentation is a  process in cellular respiration. When glucose goes into the phase of glycolysis and then the end product will be pyruvate. From there pyruvate when theres oxygen it would go to the krebs cycle; if theres no oxygen the pyruvate would then go into the process of fermentation at the end of the process the products will be lactate or ethanol and carbon dioxide.When Pyruvate goes through fermentation it is a anaerobic respiration. Anaerobic Respiration is when oxygen is not used inthe respiratory breakdown of an organic substrate.
